Each website is created in either of two ways. The client sometimes has a definite view on the structure and design of the site. At other times, he or she has no thought on how they would like it to look. At such times, they normally leave it up to us to make a start and then from there, we meet up and discuss the next step. At Overload Web, we don't create from a template or standard design. Each site is individual, according to the desires of the client and as you will notice below, each very different.
We welcome you to take a look at some of our work. We start with "WORK IN PROGRESS" - jobs that we are currently doing. This is not everything, but just a sample for you to get an idea of our style. Next is some of our finished work to give you further examples. Some Examples...
We are at the early stages of a new and used car sales website for a car sales company. No link is immediately available.
We have completed a site for the Australian Cleo magazine wild card nominee for the Bachelor of the Year Award. Todd Finlay is a model and fitness personal trainer with his own company. The site we did for him was predominantly to advertise his nomination as well as show his modelling porftfolio. We will continue to update his site - soon highlighting his fitness work.
Recently we completed a website for a not for profit Sydney acappella group called Belacappella. The website was a large undertaking with a big backend system allowing for upload / download / shopping cart / a complete members informational section etc etc.
We have recently designed a website for a company called "Stress Free Stockmanship", an Australian based firm that teaches farmers the newest approaches in Stress Free Animal Husbandry.

We completed a site for a new Australian surf shop. It's a retail store to work with their physical premises. The site went through a couple of different incarnations until the owners were all satisfied. Below is the links for two of the examples - with the final version at the bottom.

Everliving Therapies is the website for experienced Reiki and Life Alignment therapist Dee Clarke. The website brief was for something that was quite clean, not "girly" but which advertised her profession clearly for both her new and old clients.
We completed an education website for an Australian company called Human Connections. The client also does counselling and lectures. The site is also a sales / shopping website. The brief was for a bright and colourful website.
We have recently finished a website for a Newcastle Funk and Rock band. Funky Munky Band is one of Newcastle's most popular bands - playing both at pubs and clubs as well as for weddings and functions.
We built a website a little while ago for an Indian focused financial company in Australia. Unfortunately, the company has temporarily suspended business, however we liked the website and thought it was a good example of a financial type website and wanted to include it here :

We built a replacement website for a Sydney Crane company. This website is intended to demonstrate the various services that the company provides and the brief was for something clean and bright.
We built a website for a company that gives driving enthusiasts the chance to communicate with each other via text messages.
We have completed a website for a specialty accountancy firm. The brief was for something a little quirky and with lighter colours.
We have completed a website for a great Sydney singer by the name of Hollie Matthew. The brief was for darker colours (mostly black) and a bit of a grungy feel.
We have recently built a website for a company that advises musicians on the marketability of their songs. "The Song Advisers" have an upload function on the site for clients to upload their music. From there, the band or musician can pay for the service via WorldPay or Paypal.
We have produced a site for a singer in NSW Australia who was a runner up in the Rock Star INXS search. He performs as a soloist and this site was for wedding and function gigs.
We recently completed a website for a makeup company. The company, Savana Mineral Makeup requested an all black background with yellow trim. The website has a shopping cart and product information.
We have also completed a site for a painter / sculpure in the United States. This is a showcase plus sales website. The brief was for a grey / dark background to highlight the various colourful works of art.
We have completed a website for a media / design company. They wanted a black background website with bright images but no obvious photographs - they preferred graphics to photography.
We have just finished a website for a photographer in Sydney. The Planet Penny website is predominantly a horizontal scrolling site that allows the viewer to click on each photo and jump to the next.
We have recently completed a job for an ongoing client - Enhanced Learning Educational Services. This client has been working with Overload Web for the last 4 years and has had several different sites created and maintained by us in that time. The most recent is a login only website for high school students that demonstrates study and exam taking methods. As this is a subscription site, we are only able to show you the first page and all internal links have been deactivated. Click on the link below.

We also revised the front page (initial login page) of the same website. The brief was to put a more modern twist to the front page with links to the login page, and other pages. (note : the design was for the front page and NOT the "name" / "password" page that follows.)

We have recently completed a music production company site. The managing director of "Blue Room Productions" was a music producer who was also the promoter of a well known pop music party in London. He wanted a basic site to highlight his company as well as advertise the "popshow party"

We did a website for an up and coming new singer based in the United States. With a country / rock vibe, this talented singer "Malissia" recorded a Christmas album and needed a website that would advertise it as well as her tuition and songwriting talents. The brief was for all things pink! Introducing "MalissiaMusic.com"
We produced the main website for (the company mentioned at the top) - Enhanced Learning Educational Services - that teaches school students to study. We have had ongoing contracts with this company over the last few years and into 2009.

The same client wanted to have a web portal for foreign study and asked us to come up with something a little different for the course website. She wanted to adapt the website so that she had the ability to use the site as a template - changing colours for language etc.
With this in mind, we created the following (please note that due to the launch date, this example is shown only from the Overload testing server. Only two pages are active on this site - the "home" page and the "climate" page) :

We are currently producing some example sites to demonstrate the various options that are available from Overload Web. To this end, the first of these sites is one for a Thai restaurant that we have named "Yumm Thai".
